We flip flop dining at each of the two Outbacks near to our home. This one I'm less fond of than the other. They both have the same great food. However, today, when we sat down, the table was dirty. The hostess quickly cleaned it for us, but in a place that is not very busy, this is a surprising state of affairs. I've had to send my steak back at this Outback more times than the other and I've had food I've ordered not appear. Today, I had to send my steak back, but the second time around it was cooked properly and the delay was very minor. The rest of the order was prepared correctly and quite good. My husband's favorite lamb was perfectly prepared and it was an item on the dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. Both of our salads were correct and the bread warm and not over cooked. Our waiter was quite prompt and always kept us supplied with drinks and checked back with us--another waiter in addition to our own, and the manager, resolved my too rare steak (and the cook). Mostly, we're quite satisfied with our experience at Outback and this particular Outback.

We arrived about 6:30 PM for dinner and were advised there was a 45-50 minute wait, We sat out front and the cocktail waitress informed us it was still happy hour. I ordered a bloody mary and my wife had one of the sangrias. Both were great. We were seated after 35 minutes and our server came to the table immediately. He took the order for our second set of happy hour drinks and we ordered the spinach avocado w/chips appetizer. The server returned with our drinks and fresh baked bread, and shortly thereafter the appetizer arrived. It was very tasty. The serving was very large, so much we ended up taking half home. My wife's meal came with a Caesar salad with a very flavorful dressing. The entrees of ribeye with sweet potato fries and filet/lobster with vegetable medley and baked sweet potato were outstanding. The steaks were cooked exactly as we asked. Our server was very attentive and helped make for a very enjoyable evening. We had no room for desert. but the meal and service rank at or near the top of any of our dining experiences. We look forward to returning.

My husband and I love this place! It has the best happy hour in town and the bartenders are very personable. After getting to know the staff, we started to find out more and more about the food. This is the one place out of any of the chain restaurants that I don't mind having dinner. It's more on the healthy side than most chains and not full of sodium. They will grill your wings... not fry them, then grill them, but actually just grill them (it does take a little longer so have patience). Almost everything on the menu is freshly made... not frozen, then defrosted, but homemade. They took us on a tour of the kitchen and it was very impressive. One of the most delicious things on the menu is the Wood-fire grilled Pork loin chop! They add Salt and pepper, then they grill it... Add steamed green beans and grilled asparagus and it's under 500 calories! Delish!

Everybody knows Outback, but did you know you could order a Caesar salad with anchovies at no extra cost? It isn't on the menu, but it ought to be.

Food was hot and the beer was cold, but the service was a little slow.

This past sunday I was starving and wanted a quick bite. I didn't want to eat at a chain, but since this one is so close to where I live, I decided to visit. I had not been to this outback in quite some time. Honestly I don't eat at Outback Steakhouse as I find the menu, not to my liking. However, my opinion is different now. I pulled up about 3 pm which happens to be their opening time on sunday. I sat at the bar with only one other person in the place. looking over the menu I order a cran and vodka. The tender (Lawrence, I think) was nice, and fixed me up a good blend. I decided I was going to have a full eye popping meal, so I started it off with the seared ahi tuna as an appetizer. It was very good, color seemed a little off, but maybe that was from the crust. however, it tasted fresh and moist. de-lish! At this point Im noticing that people are starting to fill the bar area. Im easily the youngest by 20 years. :/ Next to order was the Filet focaccia sandwich. marinated and seasoned slices of beef/steak, with provolone, garlic herb aili on toasted bread. With a side of au jus dipping. Steamed veggies and they served pumpernickel bread for me. Seriously the best sandwich I've had to date. It was om nom nommazing. The beef was moist, rich with flavor and well done but NOT chewy like beef can be. The provolone added a nice touch and the bread was crisp yet you could bite through it without losing a tooth. i couldn't put it down and when I did, I had to pick it back up for more! Im not a huge fan of au jus sauce, but it was pretty good to dip once in a while. the steamed veggies were a little under cooked and I believe my piece of broccoli could've been chopped down a tad more. They were obviously cooked in an oil, so again, I experience another place selling steamed veggies that are really stir fried in a buttery oil. :/ After that I ordered one of my favorites. A slice of carrot cake. I was a little disappointed, but after have such amazing cakes from places like Too Jay's, Mulberry St. and perkins (yes perkins), it tends to set the bar a little high. the icine was obviously a cream cheese. A little sugary for my taste and possibly too rich. The cake seemed a little dry and someone loves the all spice. But, it did say "new" on the menu, maybe they're still perfecting it or searching for bakers? Towards the end of my meal I noticed the bar was packed. Again, surrounded by people in the 60's, 70's and 80's wasn't an issue for me. But the stares I got didn't seem very polite. I felt as if I were intruding. The decor of this location has been updated and its very clean, well lit and modern. I like the color scheme, dark earth tones. makes for a relaxing setting. What I didn't enjoy was the manager (didn't get her name), the way she ordered the staff and how loudly she talked when speaking to some of the people at the bar. it was not a loud atmosphere, so don't know the reason for shouting when the people were in front of them. But it was rather annoying to hear every word of her conversations.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Outback. I don't really eat there too often but I took my wife and daughter there last week and the food and service was much better than I expected. This location is pretty old but apparently they've had a remodel done recently. The restaurant was fresh and clean. The service was probably the best part. Not only was our server wonderful, they practiced good team service. When other servers passed our table and saw empty plates and glasses they picked them up instead of just walking by. Sometimes it's the little things like that that can make or break an experience. The food was about what I expected. I ordered a medium-rare filet. The steak was cooked correctly and was relatively flavorful. We ordered a "Bloomin' Onion" as an appetizer and it was the most horrendous thing in the world. Everything was coated in grease and the onions slid right out of the batter; really gross. I thought I remembered liking those things but it's been a solid decade since I had one so maybe they've always been disgusting and I just now noticed. All together it was a really good experience. The food wasn't gourmet or anything but I didn't really expect that to begin with. If there were two things that I took away from my meal they were good service and a clean restaurant. I'm sure I'll be back to this location.

I have been a fan of Outback for years but have not been within the last year. I went here the other night and they have completely renovated the inside as well as their menu. Typically I think their steak is somewhat chewy but I got the 6oz special and it was just right. They also have all you can eat bread and have a cheap kids menu.

As always a very good meal. I've been wanting to try the lunch menu and it was good. I had the chicken tacos with a house salad. Their salad is always so fresh. Next time I'll get the huge burger. It looked awesome and very huge!! It was a nice lunch.

This review is more about CORPORATE and their stipid decisions. Their main, iconic soup was the.creamy onion, when they opened it was their only walkabout soup. Now it's gone. Replaced by what everybody else serves 'soups '. Then we get rid of a pasta dish, then another ,. No more happy hour bogo. Final straw the desert. The trio has always been thunder, carrot cake, cheesecake. My husband and I go to dinner and it's been downsized to thunder and 2 mini deserts. I wonder if corporate doesn't think folks notice. I'm thinking so as the restaurant was empty on a Sunday nite at 7 pm. Sad

Jay was a great server. The grilled fire ribed eye steak was so juicy and seasoned well. The warm bread is addicting. Good kids menu, busy location.

The staff took great care of us and comped our appetizer because it took a while for them to get to our table. My wife's salmon was undercooked, but they took it back and cooked it a little longer only to bring it back still undercooked. They took that off the bill too and brought my girls ice cream to help keep them occupied while we waited on the check. The rest of our good was outstanding and Our server, Keisha, went above and beyond.

Usually we sit at the bar and have great service from JR. Very attentive and good food. But since we had a long day (Father's Day) we ordered for Curbside pick up. When I got home I found the small loaf of bread was a rock. I imagine they add the overcooked loaves to the to go orders because what are you going to do about it?! We ordered 2 hamburgers - my order was fine. My husband's medium well burger was raw. The fries for both orders were limp and soggy. If you are unable to keep the fries crisp in a to go order don't offer them.

Blooming onion! So tasty. We always have great service when we stop in. Call ahead seating is an awesome new feature as well as they are always busy.

Outback vs Outback... After our experience at the Oviedo location, we decided to try the Winter Springs location. Sorry to say it wasn't any better. I had the fire cracker salmon my wife and daughter both had the sirloin steaks medium well with a little pink. My salmon came out over cooked with a dollop of mushy mango type toping. The steaks came out somewhat OK, and by that I mean part of the steak was a little pink and the rest well done. The loaf of bread was not fresh. They need to take a serious look at both locations. We are done for a while.

Say what you want about chains but I think Outback is usually very good. Dollar for dollar you can't get a better steak.

Service was good tonight. Food is always pretty consistent. Very busy ,shorter wait than what we were told. All in all, good experience.

I've been here several times. I generally come here with my Grandmother who likes to get the outback special. The service is always good and the food has always been equally good. They have good drink specials during their happy hour from 3-7 and 9-close as well.

Because of the status of this restaurant, I won't go into the food that much since most people know what it's like. I usually order the same thing every time I go there. My boyfriend, son and I share everything. 12oz outback special 2 bowls of creamy onion soup baked potato mashed potatoes broccoli Bloomin' onion For a while, they were really messing up on the steak but recently they started cooking it a lot better. The service has always been good even when they're extremely packed. I do take out a lot and it is usually very fast and impressive. The restaurant itself is nice and dark which I love. I also love that they have the outdoor seating which is really nice as well. You usually can't go wrong at this location so definitely try it out.

My husband and I frequent the outback in Sanford, however decided on trying this one out instead since we were on that side of town. The food was good, but the service was less than par. Our waitress was nowhere to be found 90% of the time. For example, it took approximately 10 minutes to receive our drink orders (ice tea and a beer) and my husbands beer was wrong. IF we go back I'll make sure to order our drinks, apps, dinner, and check all at the same time to fit the needs of our long lost waitress.

When we go to Outback we go to this location being near were we live. A while back this location had really declined in quality. However, I am happy to report that I have seen much improvement in the quality if their food! I am a big fan of the Creamy onion soup and the Filet and both taste great lately. The soup tastes fresh and no longer that from a can taste. The Filet is close to being back to the original taste that I remember . Good quality meat cooked well. The wedge salad is also a new love of mine.

You can pretty much always count on Outback for a great meal, it is usually consistent and they are quick with getting your food out. Had the Salmon with veggies and a salad and it was excellent! Hubby and Son both had Outback Specials with salads and baked potatoes and we had 3 happy plates!!

There's a reason I don't usually choose to go to chain restaurants, and unfortunately my latest Outback visit reminded me of why. I had the Bloomin' Burger, and really, there was nothing special about it.
